Peace of mind and cover are two of the most important things private health cover can provide. But that's just the beginning of what it means to those families enjoying private cover.

Many people don't think about taking up a health plan until they're unwell. Unfortunately, that might mean they pay more or are covered for less...
We often forget about it, but health is your constant companion and best friend through life. With health on your side, you're able to go on incredible adventures, achieve wonderful things and live a life worth writing about.
But when your best friend suffers, you're no longer able to do the things you want. And while public health might provide basic help, the stress, waiting, uncertainty and lack of control may make the road to recovery long, hard and draining.
That's not what life is about.
When you have private cover, your health gets the help it needs as soon as it needs. In good times, cover can help keep your health in tip-top shape. In bad, it gets you back on your feet as quickly, and stress-free as possible.

This offer applies to new customers of nib (someone who is not an existing nib customer as at 10 June 2019), 18 years old and over who purchases any Hospital and/or Everyday cover, between 10 June 2019 and 31 July 2019 via the nib telesales team. This offer is not available for policies purchased online.
Notwithstanding this period of general availability of the offer to the general public, nib may (in its absolute discretion) provide this offer to any customers who purchase policies after 31 July 2019.
Eligible customers must pay for the first month and will then receive the second and third months premiums free as long as the policy remains in force. If a weekly or fortnightly payment option is selected, weeks five to twelve (inclusive) will be free after an eligible customer has paid for weeks one to four (inclusive).
At the end of the two months of free cover, premiums will again be payable and you will continue to be charged on the payment cycle you have chosen (Weekly/fortnightly/monthly/quarterly/annually).
The two months free will be applied as a credit on your policy. The credit is not transferable, refundable or redeemable for cash.
This offer can’t be used in conjunction with any other offers.
These terms may be updated or modified by us (provided this doesn't prejudice anyone who has already received the offer), and were last updated on 10 June 2019. Any material change will be notified on nib.co.nz.
