Priority Health® Business

Research proves that putting an employee benefits scheme in place is good for business. With one call, you can talk to TOWER about tailoring a solution designed to help fit the needs of your organisation.

Providing health insurance to employees means they have faster access to treatment if they develop a covered health condition. It also gives them a greater choice of when, where and how they are treated.

Priority Health Business is an innovative health insurance product which is designed to address the issue of affordability. The product is broken down into six modules, which employers and their employees can use to build a customised health insurance plan that suits their individual needs.

  • Base Cover: Major Surgical Module

This is the only compulsory module and provides health insurance cover for major surgical costs e.g. hip/knee replacement, cardiac surgery.

  • Module 1: Other Surgical Cover

An optional module which provides health insurance cover for additional, less costly surgical procedures not covered in the Base Cover e.g. tonsillectomy, hernia repair, myringotomy (grommets).

  • Module 2: Cancer and Non-surgical Hospitalisation Cover

An optional module which provides health insurance cover for non-surgical cancer treatment e.g. private radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

  • Module 3: Trauma Cover

An optional module which provides a lump sum payment on diagnosis of a listed serious medical condition, to assist in the recovery process.

Why should you add a Lump Sum Trauma option on your health policy?

  • Module 4: General Practitioner (GP) Cover

An optional module which provides health insurance cover for the cost of GP visits and prescriptions.

  • Module 5: Specialist and Other Diagnostic Cover

An optional module which provides cover for the cost of specialist and diagnostic consultations, whether or not hospital treatment is needed.

Surgical and diagnostic procedure lists

Priority Health Business is a procedure based product, meaning you are covered for certain listed procedures. Therefore it is important that you check the surgical and diagnostic procedure lists to understand what your cover provides.
